Why coach lacrosse?

During my years of playing, the one thing that made the biggest impact on me is the coaching staffs that I have played under. Playing in high school for Coach Bogan and his staff at Park Tudor I learned so much about lacrosse and what it means to be a gentleman. I learned hard work pays off, and how to be a leader. Just this past year Coach Drew Bogan was recognized for his amazing impact by being awarded the IHSLA Coach of the year.

Now in college I have the amazing opportunity to play under Coach Justin Moe and Coach Tanner Popovich. During this past year Coach Moe and Coach Popovich have helped me deal with the jump from high school lacrosse to college lacrosse. Their endless support, passion and positive attitude was the reason for our teams success. And they were recognized for their amazing coaching with Coach Moe winning the Appalachian Athletic Conference Head Coach of the Year Award, and Coach Popovich winning the Assistant Coach of the Year award within our college athletic program.

These coaches have shaped who I am today and inspired me to do the same for the next generation of lacrosse players. Sharing the many lessons that were passed onto me to better the future of Indiana lacrosse.

"I have been playing lacrosse for 10+ years at club, middle school, high school and now at the college level. Through out that time I've learned invaluable lessons and skills that I wish to pass on to the next generation of lacrosse player from Indiana" - Coach Ethan Cline

College achievements

Three year varsity starter, two year captain at Park Tudor School. Three consecutive post season appearances,  Academic All-State, 2x Offensive MVP, Coach's award and many more.

In my first year of college at Savannah College of Art and Design I was a first line midfielder. As a freshman I was top five in points scored on the team, helping lead SCAD to its first national tournament appearance in program history, making it all the way to the semifinals.

Across my time as a lacrosse player I have accumulated a number of awards and achievements.
